Throughout my Feng Shui practice, I have worked with many real estate agents, providing Feng Shui tips assisting them with selling the houses they had on the market. They would ask me how Feng Shui could help them to move that real estate quickly. If a property was on the market too long, they would ask me to take a look at it through Feng Shui eyes and offer tips. I have also personally sold several homes in less than 5 days and I could not have done it without using several Feng Shui real estate tips. The most important Feng Shui real estate tip is to get a very clear intention. In Feng Shui, intention must be clearly visualized for the energy of the Universe to follow and have manifestation occur. Whether it is buying or selling real estate, Feng Shui will assist all parties involved. The homeowners must want to sell the home and let go of the real estate property in their minds and hearts in order for the new owners to come in. If anyone in the family is holding onto the real estate, the Universe is sent mixed messages.

tip for selling real estate is to remove personal items from the home such
as pictures, memorabilia, and things with your name on it etc. Potential
buyers view the real estate property as a clean slate and won’t feel like an
eviction is occurring. I recommend people walk through the home starting
from the street or driveway. In Feng Shui, all opportunity comes through the
front door, so start outside and see how it “feels” when the home is
entered. Is there tension in the real estate property? Does it feel muddy or
sluggish in the home? Feng Shui can assist with clearing the energy of the
home so that the real estate property is neutralized. This can be
accomplished through aromatherapy or incense. Use
Feng Shui sprays - a mixture of lemongrass,
eucalyptus and rosemary with water throughout the real estate property and
feel the difference. Show the house in the best light, have a clear
intention of selling and it will go quickly.
Other good real estate Feng Shui tips include hanging a chime or crystal in the helpful people area and asking for the right buyers to come into the home. Ask for the right real estate agent to be presented. Allow the Universe to bring the perfect scenario forth when buying or selling real estate.
An important Feng Shui tip for purchasing real estate is to ask a common question. Why is the real estate available? What occurred in the space? Real estate that is on the market from divorce, bankruptcy, eviction or violence is not desirable for purchase. The energy remains in the space and the real estate property would require substantial clearing before it could be inhabited. Try to find real estate property where the people left because they were promoted or moved to a bigger home due to a growing family. These are happy circumstances and that happiness is reflected in the energy of the home. Real estate that is located opposite a cemetery, church or hospital is not ideal in location. Homes on very busy streets have racing energy and the people could feel exhausted all the time. Real estate stuck on a cul-de-sac does not provide a good flow of energy past the home. If the home feels good when it is viewed from the street, you are closer to finding a good balance for a place to move and live.
