The world of whimsical Feng Shui is fun and fanciful. Fairies and angels have always been important to me so I wanted to use my creativity and make a fairy for the helpful people area. When we create, we bring a world of wealth and happiness into our lives. Creating, for me has been a journey from the past when I was a little girl to my present.
I love rescuing cast-off, rusty forgotten
pieces of "junk" and combining them with fabric. I have many
vintage pieces of cloth from my grandmother, mother and from when I was
sewing as a girl. No piece was too small to save in my stash. Baley
Fairies were developed from old baling wire from the farm I grew up on and
little pieces of satin material saved from long ago. The baling wire is shaped and
tied to resemble a dancing frame and a whimsical Feng Shui fairy was born. The
Bailey fairy comes in a variety of colors. Allow her to dance her way
into your heart and hang her in the helpful people area of the home (see
bagua), or give her as a gift to someone special.
